Preparation Instructions:
To begin this recipe you will first need to take out a large saucepan and then place it on the stove over medium heat. Next add into the saucepan the softened butter, butterscotch chips, and marshmallows, stirring often until all of these ingredients have melted into a smooth and even cream. Once that step is complete, remove the saucepan from the burner and immediately stir in the butterscotch pudding mix. Moving forward, next pour in the twelve cups of Kellogg's Rice Krispies, vigorously stirring until the cereal is completely coated in the butterscotch cream. Next take out a baking pan, and thoroughly grease it. Now using a buttered spatula, evenly distribute the cereal mixture into the pan, pressing it down so that it has an even and flat surface. Once you are done there set the butterscotch rice krispie treats aside to cool for half an hour. Finally cut them into two inch squares before serving.
